Stunning! JMD Open House Attracts Global Clients—Roll-to-Book Solution Leads the New Post-Press Trend

On May 19, the 11th Beijing International Printing Technology Exhibition (China Print 2025) concluded successfully in a vibrant atmosphere. Following the exhibition, JMD held factory open house events in collaboration with Gu’an Mingcheng Printing Co., Ltd. and Beijing Dingjia Century Printing Co., Ltd., showcasing the 880mm large-format full inline Roll-to-Book Digital Post-Press Solution and the Superbinder-8000e Intelligent Perfect Binding Line. The event attracted dozens of customers from Korea, Southeast Asia, South America, and Europe, marking a successful conclusion to the 2025 show.

After over a decade of development in digital post-press, JMD has specially developed the 880mm large-format Roll-to-Book digital finishing solution. The equipment's format matches that of traditional web presses, allowing it to meet both short-run, on-demand jobs and high-efficiency, large-scale production. This solution has already been successfully implemented at industry-leading sites such as Beijing Mingcheng, Hucai Printing, Xinjiang Xinhua, Henan Shengda, Anhui Xinhua, and Korea’s FIK. Guests witnessed the complete automated workflow from roll unwinding to folding, cutting, block stacking, and perfect binding. The fully automated line drew wide praise for its fast changeover capabilities and its elimination of many intermediate manual steps such as folding signatures and manual placement.

In particular, the inline Digital Robot 2000C from JMD stood out with its high degree of automation, fast adjustments, and interchangeable EVA and optional PUR gluing systems. It significantly boosts digital printing efficiency and aligns with the industry trend toward intelligent, efficient, and eco-friendly production.
