The latest trend of JMD Technology in the world

JMD Unveils Groundbreaking New Product and Strategic Smart Factory Partnerships at China Print 2025

2025-05-21

On May 15, the 11th Beijing China Print Exhibition officially kicked off at the China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Hall). JMD (Booth No. W1-007) made a powerful impression on the opening day with the global launch of its groundbreaking new product — the Sunbridge-15000 Ultra-High-Speed Intelligent Perfect Binding System — and the signing ceremony of strategic smart factory partnerships with leading printing companies including Hunan Tianwen Xinhua Printing Co., Ltd., Guangdong Xinhua Printing Co., Ltd., and Anhui Xinhua Printing Co., Ltd.

Industry Leaders Witness the Breakthrough

At the very start of the exhibition, prominent figures including Li Yixin, Director of the Printing and Distribution Bureau of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee; Lu Zhou, Deputy Director and Second-Level Inspector of the Printing and Reproduction Division; and Yang Minqiang, Executive Vice President and Secretary-General of the Printing and Printing Equipment Industries Association of China, visited JMD’s booth. They observed the live demonstration of the Sunbridge-15000, acknowledging JMD’s significant breakthrough in intelligent post-press manufacturing in China.

Global Launch Ignites the Show

The second highlight of the day was the official launch ceremony of the Sunbridge-15000. The event was attended by Mr. Liu Xiaokai, Chairman of the Printing Technology Association of China; Mr. Zheng Bin, Chairman of JMD; Mr. Xu Xiangrong, Chairman of Hunan Tianwen Xinhua Printing; Mr. Yao Feng, Chairman of Anhui Xinhua Printing; and Mr. Guo Zhijian, General Manager of Guangdong Xinhua Printing, who jointly officiated the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

As JMD’s fifth-generation product, the Sunbridge-15000 features proprietary technology and achieves a stable production speed of up to 15,000 books per hour, setting a new benchmark for similar machines globally. Representing a major technological leap, this system includes comprehensive upgrades in structure, core components, and materials. Most notably, it resolves the industry-wide challenge of maintaining stability at ultra-high speeds, with a remarkably low failure rate. This innovation lays a strong hardware foundation for future AI integration.

Following the ribbon cutting, guests and attendees watched a live demonstration of the Sunbridge-15000, showcasing innovations such as an entirely new gathering design, rotatable touchscreens, dual-display interface, optimized gluing system, continuous sealing system, and an international minimalist design. Powered by full-servo drive and intelligent control, the system ensures high-speed stability, fast changeovers, and adaptability to both short-run and high-volume production.

Smart Factory Vision: Reducing Costs, Increasing Efficiency

As AI technology rapidly expands across industries, smart factory development is becoming a clear trend for printing enterprises. JMD continues to drive this evolution by creating integrated smart factory solutions through upstream and downstream collaboration — helping customers reduce costs, increase efficiency, and maximize productivity.

In line with this vision, JMD signed strategic smart factory cooperation agreements with leading partners including Hunan Tianwen Xinhua, Guangdong Xinhua Printing, Anhui Xinhua Printing, Haoxin Precision Machinery (Dongguan), RedDot Technology (Shenzhen), and Wulue Technology (Beijing).

The signing ceremony was attended by JMD Chairman Mr. Zheng Bin; Mr. Xu Xiangrong, Chairman of Hunan Tianwen Xinhua; Mr. Yao Feng, Chairman of Anhui Xinhua; Mr. Guo Zhijian, General Manager of Guangdong Xinhua; Mr. Liu Yi, General Manager of Haoxin Precision; Mr. Zeng Fanping, General Manager of RedDot Technology; and Mr. Chen Junjiang, General Manager of Wulue Technology. All parties expressed a strong commitment to deep cooperation in smart technology and process innovation to stay ahead in a fast-changing market.

Digital Finishing: Unlocking Limitless Possibilities

In addition to the digitalization of traditional printing, JMD also showcased its full-roll-to-book digital finishing solution for large-format (880mm) applications. The Digital FoldLine 180 folding and cutting system combined with the Digital Robot 2000C digital finishing line attracted significant attention with its efficiency, stability, and alignment with the growing trend of on-demand printing.

This solution can seamlessly connect with digital printers from global brands such as Kodak, HP, ZhiYi, Yingkejie, Founder, and HanGlobal, enabling fully automated book production from roll to finished product — whether printing multiple books or a single copy per run. Proven implementations at leading companies like Beijing Mingcheng, Hucai Printing, Xinjiang Xinhua, Shengda (Henan), Anhui Xinhua, and FIK in South Korea confirm the market recognition and real-world success of this innovative technology.

Continuous Innovation, Relentless Improvement

Also featured at the show was the newly upgraded Superbinder-200F perfect binder. This model now includes both hardware and software enhancements for even better usability and performance. The intelligent interface has been redesigned to align with customer habits, offering a clearer and more intuitive operation experience — even new users can master it quickly.

A new sample book mode has been added, allowing users to flexibly set the book spine pressing time to achieve better quality results. The improved notching and gluing system ensures clean, consistent spine formation — even on thick books — making it an ideal choice for both large-scale production and short-run sample book creation.
