The Light of Craftsmanship • Forging Excellence: The 3rd Southern "JMD CUP" Concludes Successfully

The event was attended by Wang Yanbin, Honorary Chairman of the China Printing Technology Association, representatives from the printing associations of the 13 provinces, and over a hundred professionals from the printing industry. The "JMD CUP", a leading indicator of post-press product quality, has been held for ten editions in the north, and this is the third edition in the south. The event aims to further improve the quality and manufacturing processes of perfect-bound products in China, accelerate the digital transformation of the binding industry chain, and foster an environment for skill development and talent cultivation. It is also an essential competition for building new productive forces in the industry.
Wang Yanbin expressed strong recognition for the event, highlighting its significant role in enhancing industry quality and talent development. She specifically noted, "This year's award-winning works showcase excellent external craftsmanship and profound content, reflecting the outstanding skills and dedication of the winning leaders of binding lines." Mr. Zheng Bin, Chairman of JMD, stated, "We thank the organizing committee and participants of each "JMD CUP" for their strong support and dedication. The "JMD CUP" is not a commercial activity, but a fair and impartial high-quality binding competition. We hope it will contribute to the development of post-press binding."
Fairness, impartiality, and rigor are the constant evaluation principles for every edition of the "JMD CUP". The organizing committee for this year's Southern "JMD CUP" received 344 submissions for the Post-press Product Quality Award and 81 nominations for Outstanding Binding Leaders. The expert panel, including Qi Yingyi, Deputy Director of the Publishing Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, Shen Guorong, Chief Judge of the National Printing Vocational Skills Competition’s post-press binding event, Liu Jiyan, Expert from the Yunnan Provincial News and Publishing Industry Technology Center, and He Hong, Expert from the Hunan Provincial Publication Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, conducted multiple rounds of strict evaluations and final reviews.
