Congratulations to Chairman Zheng Bin, Founder of JMD, on Winning the 15th "Bi Sheng Printing Outstanding Achievement Award"

On December 19, 2019, the 15th "Bi Sheng Printing Technology Award" ceremony was held grandly at the China Workers' Home in Beijing.

Deputy Secretary-General of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and Director of the State Press and Publication Administration Guo Yiqiang, Director of the Printing and Distribution Bureau of the Publicity Department Liu Xiaokai, Deputy Director of the Academic Department of China Association for Science and Technology Chen Rui, President of China Printing Technology Association Wang Yanbin, Director of the Printing and Reproduction Department of the Publicity Department Lu Zhou, Honorary President of China Printing Technology Association Wu Wenxiang, and Mr. Senze Toshihiro, the son of Mr. Senze Katsuaki, an old friend of China Printing Association, attended the meeting. More than 500 people attended the conference, including members of the 8th Council of China Printing Association, leaders of various provincial and municipal printing associations, winners of previous Bi Sheng Awards, invited representatives of judges, and media representatives from CCTV News Broadcast Group, China News Publishing and Broadcasting Newspaper, China Printing Magazine, Science Printing Network, Bi Sheng Printing Network, and Today's Printing. The conference was chaired by Chen Yan, Executive Director of the China Printing Technology Association.

The Bi Sheng Printing Technology Award was established by the China Printing Technology Association in 1986. It is named in memory of Bi Sheng, the founder of China's movable type printing technology, who made significant contributions to Chinese culture. It is also the highest award in the printing industry approved by the state. Up to now, a total of 15 sessions have been held, and 179 outstanding entrepreneurs, managers, and employees in China's printing and related fields, represented by Academician Wang Xuan, have won the award.

In 2019, the 15th Bi Sheng Printing Technology Award selected 8 outstanding achievement awards and 12 outstanding newcomer awards. Deputy Secretary-General of the CPC Publicity Department and Director of the State Press and Publication Administration Guo Yiqiang, Director of the Printing and Distribution Bureau of the Publicity Department Liu Xiaokai, Deputy Director of the Academic Department of China Association for Science and Technology Chen Rui, and President of China Printing Technology Association Wang Yanbin jointly presented the winners with honorary certificates, medals, and bonuses and took a group photo.

The 15th Bi Sheng Printing Technology Award ceremony recognized Shenzhen JMD Intelligent Machinery Co., Ltd.'s Chairman Zheng Bin with the following citation: "As the founder of JMD, he has been focusing on post-press binding for more than 20 years. He led the development of the Cambridge 12000 high-speed adhesive binding line, breaking the monopoly of international brands. The 'Digital Robot' post-press solution his team independently developed represents the highest technical level of China's post-press binding and competes with international brands on the same stage. He is committed to innovation in binding technology and services, carrying out post-press binding quality evaluation activities, and making significant contributions to improving the technology and quality of binding in China."

At the same time, during the concurrent event commemorating the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China's printing industry, Shenzhen JMD Intelligent Machinery Co., Ltd. was included in the "Pioneer Enterprises" of "Striving for a New Era - Commemorating the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of New China's Printing Industry Pioneers," and Chairman Zheng Bin received the honorary title of "Pioneer Figure."
