Breakthrough and Transformation — Shenzhen Printing Association’s 10th Council Meeting Successfully Held at JMD

The Shenzhen Printing Association’s council meeting gathered leading enterprises and industry experts from across Shenzhen’s printing supply chain. As a key decision-making platform, the council plays a vital role in guiding the association’s development, discussing industry hotspots, and driving sector progress.

The meeting was chaired by Mr. Wu Yayong, President of the Shenzhen Printing Association. At the outset, Secretary-General Mr. Zhang Yongdong reported on the Association’s key initiatives and industry status for the first half of 2025.

Themed presentations followed. Mr. Zheng Bin, Chairman of JMD, delivered a keynote titled “Look Beyond Printing, See Beyond Today”, calling for fresh perspectives in shaping the future of the industry. Mr. You Banzou, R&D Director at the Greater Bay Area Institute of the National Green Printing and Packaging Industry Innovation Base, presented on current national green printing R&D trends. Mr. Zhang Dong, Chairman and General Manager of YinGongShe (Qingdao) Digital Technology, shared insights into digital color management applications in the printing sector. Mr. Su Wei, GM of the Sales Department at Beijing Zhiyi Zhonghe Technology, introduced new scenarios in digital printing—from single-copy to 100,000-copy production. These diverse perspectives opened new doors for the industry and left the participants inspired and enlightened.

During the roundtable session, guests spoke openly about their companies' development challenges, especially under the current difficult market conditions. They engaged in in-depth discussions on the new landscape and opportunities facing the printing industry—how to break free from traditional thinking, expand development paths, and pursue intelligent and green transformation. There was consensus on the need for deeper collaboration around high-quality growth and innovation across enterprises.

Following the meeting, guests toured JMD’s modern manufacturing facility, witnessing firsthand the live operation of several advanced post-press binding lines, including the 4th-generation high-speed digital Newbridge Perfect Binding System, Superbinder-8000Plus, and Superbinder-200F. Attendees were deeply impressed by JMD’s rigorous and advanced quality control systems.
